ABY Journal is a place where your most meaningful thoughts and reflections find a secure home, right on your own device. We believe that true creativity and self-reflection flourish when you have complete peace of mind about your privacy.

As the team behind ABY Journal at MosaicDreamers Inc., we've built this app with a simple principle: your journal belongs to you and only you. This is why your journal entries are never stored on our servers. The only time we interact with your journal entries is when generating your insights, and even then, we never keep or store your entries.

We understand that journaling is deeply personal. It's where you explore your thoughts, celebrate victories, work through challenges, and dream about possibilities. That's why we've designed ABY Journal differently from traditional apps. Instead of storing your journal in the cloud, everything lives right on your device. It's like having a magical diary that only you can access.

When generating insights, only entries needed for generating specific insights are sent securely to our servers - briefly processed to provide you with thoughtful reflections, then immediately deleted from our servers. Think of it like sharing a thought with a trusted friend who helps you gain perspective, then respectfully lets the conversation remain between you two.

We work with several trusted partners to make ABY Journal magical:

• • OpenAI and Anthropic: These are our AI partners that we use to power ABY's reflection & insights feature. Both of these partners neither store nor train on the data that we send to them. We're actively working on making this partnership even more secure through formal agreements.
• • Sentry and PostHog: We use these to help us understand how ABY is performing and where we can make improvements - only generic information like crash logs & app health metrics are sent to them. Your journal entries are NEVER sent to them.
• • OneSignal: Used for sending you gentle reminders and updates. They never see your journal content.

Your privacy and security are at the heart of ABY Journal:

• • All communications between your device and our servers (during insights processing) are encrypted
• • Your journal benefits from your device's built-in security features
• • We process your data temporarily and only when generating insights

Since your journal lives on your device, you're in complete control:

• • Delete entries anytime you wish
• • Export your insights (coming soon!)
• • Manage app permissions through your device settings

We may update this privacy policy as ABY Journal evolves. When we do, we'll let you know through the app and update the date at the top of this page.
